Become A FOster
Bring joy to your life while providing a loving and safe home for a small dog until adoption!
Fosters are the life blood of the Wee Rescue family. We have many wonderful animals waiting for the forever homes they deserve. Until then, we depend on fosters to open their hearts and homes to these dogs.
What do Wee need to give these animals a better chance? More foster families!
Fostering a dog is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have (other than adopting, of course). By taking an animal in need temporarily into your home, you:
- Free up a spot so Wee Rescue can take in more dogs who need homes
- Give your foster dog time to get ready for adoption (after spaying/ neutering, for example)
- Help the Wee Rescue team learn more about a dog for the best possible adoption match
- Socialize the dog to a home environment and possibly other pets and personalities
Wee Rescue fosters attend Meet and Greets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. to give adopters the chance to meet the dogs. You will enjoy seeing other Wees and meeting their caring advocates.
