| Wee Rescue is an all-volunteer rescue group dedicated to rescuing Lhasa Apsos, Pekingese, and Shih Tzus from the Town Lake Animal Shelter and other kill shelters and facilities in the Austin metropolitan area. Our mission is to place abandoned and homeless small dogs into loving, permanent homes in the Austin area. Wee Rescue is a 501(c)3, tax-exempt, non-profit organization. We have no paid staff and operate solely through the time and talent of our many volunteers who work to save the lives of the wonderful dogs we have in our care. We charge a modest adoption fee and rely on the generosity of our donors. |
