Happy Homes
Many of you followed the story of Gabe. We just received a
new photo of Gabe. Gabe was our Christmas poster boy one
year. He had been hit by a car and was severely injured. It
was on New Years eve when he was found laying in a road
by a police officer who took Gabe to the EC. After several
surgeries and six months of living with a foster family things
came together.
Gabe was able to get his bodily functions back and did what
everyone thought was impossible....he learned to walk. Well,
now happy as any dog could be, he runs. Looking at Gabe
you could never guess what this little guy went through.
Wee Rescue and Gabe were very lucky when he was adopted
by his "forever family". He was a very special boy to all the
volunteers and the staff at Crossing Animal Clinic.
Wee Rescue relies 100% on the time, talent, and generosity of our
wonderful volunteers. To learn how you can get involved, please email
us at info@weerescue.org.

Hi Wee Rescue,
We are a 7 dog family and Wee Rescue was our first
adventure into the world of rescue. My husband is an Arson
Investigator for the Austin Fire Department and has a
service dog named Pearl. She is his work partner and
spoiled rotten girl! She is a very hard worker but is "all lab"
at home.
Since Pearl came to live with us we have adopted Eddie
(Edison) and LuLu (Wee name "Leah") and Tucker (wee
name "Turner" ). Tucker was an old guy that was huge mess
when we got him. He is now healthy and happy and as frisky
as an old guy can be. It was our privilege to give him a safe,
comfy home for him for his last years. We rescued Zoey from
our vets office, she was a 3-month old "run-away." We have
also temporarily been keeping Carmen, our grand-dog, who
was rescued by our daughter, from Operation Kindness in
Dallas. In December, we volunteered to keep Tina, a 5
pound toy poodle, for an elderly man who was in the
hospital. He died in January and Tina became ours!
Wee are now a home full of rescues. I just wanted you to
know that Wee Rescue started us on our adventures of
being a "7 dog family." All our babies are inside dogs and
sleep in our bedroom every night. They share our home with
us and are a huge part of our family.
Thank you for all you do for all the delightful rescues. Wee
appreciate you so much.
Lots of love and dog kisses!
Kim and Brooks F.

Attached are a couple pictures of Max that I have. The
second one captures him perfect. He loves to rub his face on
everything and wiggle around while doing it, especially on
the concrete. He is so silly.

Hi, my name is Betsey Bear and Wee
Rescue helped me find my new adopted
home. I had a wonderful foster home
with my 2 foster dads as well as their
two permanent Wees. They took such
good care of me when I went to live with
them.
My new mom & dad think I am about the
cutest thing and my new home has a
yard to play and watch the birds &
squirrels. They love to walk me each day
and they let me sleep as late as I want.
I got to go with them on their vacation
this summer to Colorado Springs. My
mom calls me pretty girl and she loves to
pamper me. My dad rubs my belly and I
take him on long walks for his exercise.
What more could a girl want? Thanks
Wee Rescue for giving me my new life
and to my foster dads for giving me lots
of love.
